This 75mm × 75mm (3″ × 3″) sawn redwood fence post is a strong, durable choice for supporting timber fence panels, gates and other garden fencing projects.
Redwood is widely used for high-quality fencing because its natural cell structure allows preservative treatment to penetrate effectively. When pressure treated to Use Class 4, it offers long-lasting protection in applications involving direct ground contact. Redwood posts are generally considered a premium alternative to standard whitewood posts, which should be taken into account when comparing prices.
Suitable for use with most standard timber fence panels. Posts can be installed directly into the ground, set in concrete or fitted into suitable metal post supports.

Fence posts are normally installed approximately 600mm (2ft) into the ground. When setting the post in concrete, place the concrete around the sides rather than directly beneath the base. This allows water and moisture to drain away instead of collecting underneath the post.
